OPENING DESIRE PATHS FOR CULTURE

 

We are preparing the selection of participants for our project. In order to offer clear information, we have written down our objectives:  OPENING DESIRE PATHS FOR CULTURE GENERAL OBJECTIVES   1.-The final product of this project is to design an interactive map based on the literary production of writers from our region, including historical, geographical, artistic and economic information.     2.-Technology will be a strong area in our project, as we are planning to use different ICT tools to design our map and to share it. We will need to learn how to use tools that have proven to be very useful in current education. Our activities will encourage both teachers and students to create materials and to share them with other schools and with society. For this dissemination part, technology will be crucial.   3.-Norba Caesarina school wants to compromise with a region, Extremadura, which is really in need of promoting itself and reaching an international dimension.   Our Erasmus + project " Opening desire paths for culture " has just set off with contacts between Södra Latins Gymnasium is Stockholm (Sweden) and and IES Norba Caesarina in Cáceres (Spain).  We are holding meetings of teachers from the different areas which will collaborate in the activities. The departments involved are Art, Technology, Literature, Geography and English.  We intend to create an interactive literary map using ICT tools to integrate literature, history, art, geography and economy. Students with different skills and interests will work together to create materials that will link literature and territory.
